• Possess the necessary qualifications and credentials for the job, such as a relevant degree or professional certification.
• The position must be temporary, and the applicant must intend to return to their home country when the TN visa status expires.

Job Offer: A key requirement for the TN visa is a job offer from a U.S. employer. The employer must submit a petition on the applicant's behalf to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at a designated port of entry;

Duration: TN visa holders can initially be admitted for up to three years, and the status can be extended in three-year increments with no maximum limit. However, the employment must remain temporary in nature;

Family Members: Spouses and dependent children of TN visa holders can apply for TD (Trade Dependent) visas, allowing them to accompany the TN visa holder to the United States. While they can live in the U.S., TD visa holders are generally not permitted to work;
